KINZO | FREDERIK KURZWEG
SOON AT THE STATE OF DESIGN, BERLIN 2017 FESTIVAL, AS PART OF ALLES NEU, NIEUWE GERMAN GESTALTUNG #006
A cylindric side table made of plywood, and a bit out of another world. Named after the Japanese version of the Kinky ghost in the legendary pacman game who can merge himself with other ghosts, and also seems to have the capacity to create machines. Like the ghost, the table can be used for different purposes. It fits the living room just as well as the children‘s room. While the top can be opened and used for storage, the bottom edge is milled in a wavy line to give it a graphic, light and playful appearance. Comes with a Kinzo Bench.
The Frederik Kurzweg Design Studio is based in Lübeck, Northern Germany and was founded in 2014.
